Duolingo has just launched 148 new language courses, more than doubling its offerings, thanks to the power of generative AI. This expansion makes popular languages like Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin accessible to users in all 28 supported interface languages, reaching over a billion potential learners worldwide. 

The company has also introduced AI-powered features such as Video Call, allowing premium subscribers to practice conversations with an AI character named Lily, and Adventures, a game-like exploration experience that immerses learners in real-life scenarios. 

These innovations are part of Duolingo’s “AI-first” strategy, aiming to provide high-quality, accessible education globally.With these advancements, language learning has become more interactive, personalized, and efficient than ever before.
